Client: Beiersdorf AG, Planning/concept: Ippolito Fleitz Group
Building size: 3,200 workplaces on more than 4,000m2 of space to promote communicative interaction
Idea: The office planning for the new Beiersdorf Campus is based on the concept of dynamic working and a contemporary New Work approach. For the client, this means above all flexibility and functionality. Collaboration is the meta-theme of the furnishing concept for the new corporate headquarters - at the same time, the workspaces offer space for individual freedom and different working styles. Furniture systems used: WINEA FLOW desk system, WINEA SONIC acoustic elements, WINEA MAXX storage system and WINEA MAXX Locker
The renowned Ippolito Fleitz Group office is responsible for the concept of the new working and collaboration world. The design focuses on offering a variety of working environments.
The workstation system used was the WINEA FLOW desk program in a version individually designed for Beiersdorf as a DUO workstation with a floor-level Connecting traverse. Each workstation is shielded from the traffic route by a Rounded White counter element, which offers both protection and a controlled communication option. The gentle rounding of the desktops, counter attachments and acoustic walls was continued through to the formally coherent workplace lighting.
All employees have access to a locker compartment with electronic locking. WINI also created individual solutions for this based on the WINEA MAXX storage space program in accordance with the design specifications of the Ippolito Fleitz Group.
For Beiersdorf, a new way of working means that no work area is completely open or closed, which enables a high degree of changeability and diversity. Office structures independent of hierarchy have been created with a uniform design language. There are assigned areas for each team or department, known as team neighborhoods. The teams were able to configure their areas themselves using room modules and thus adapt them ideally to their way of working. However, employees are free to choose where and how they want to work on the campus.
The Beiersdorf name has stood for innovative skin care since 1882. The secret of its success has always been its strong innovative strength and the consistent further development of its unique brands and products, combined with the endeavor to always give the best in order to maintain and expand the high quality and consumer confidence in our skin care products.
