digital product passport

1.1 These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the use of the digital product passport ("Product Passport") for products of WINI Büromöbel Georg Schmidt GmbH & Co KG ("WINI"). The purpose of the Product Passport is to provide relevant information about the products in a digital format to enable efficient management, tracking and use of the products.

1.2 These terms and conditions apply to all users of the Product Pass who wish to use the digital services of the Product Pass.

1.3 With the use of the Product Pass, users agree to these terms and conditions. If the user does not agree with these terms and conditions, it is not possible to use the product.

2.1 The digital product passport provides a collection of information on products manufactured by WINI. The main functions include

• Recording and storage of product details such as manufacturer, model, version, production date, further product information and warranty conditions.

3 User obligations

3.1 The User undertakes to use the Product Pass only in accordance with these Terms of Use and the applicable laws.
3.2 The User undertakes not to misuse the Product Pass, in particular not for unauthorized purposes or fraudulent activities.

4.1 The operator of the Product Pass reserves the right to change the terms of use at any time in order to comply with legal or operational requirements. Changes will be announced in good time via the operator's website.

4.2 The operator reserves the right to block individual functions or remove information in the event of repeated violations of the terms of use or misuse of the Product Pass.

4.3 The operator has the right to discontinue the service temporarily or permanently at any time, whereby the user will be informed of the reasons and the planned duration of the discontinuation, insofar as this is possible.

5 Data protection and data security

5.1 The operator of the Product Pass undertakes to protect the privacy of users and to process personal data only in accordance with the applicable data protection laws.

5.2 All data stored in the Product Pass is stored securely on servers that comply with current data protection and security standards. The operator shall ensure that all personal data is only used for the intended purposes.

5.3 The user has the right to view, update or Delete their personal data at any time, insofar as this is possible within the functionality of the Product Pass.

5.4 The operator shall take all reasonable steps to protect the security of the data against unauthorized access, loss or destruction. Nevertheless, no liability is accepted for damage caused by unforeseeable technical problems or security gaps.

6 Limitations of liability

6.1 The operator is only liable for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent behavior, as well as for damages resulting from injury to life, limb or health No liability is assumed for damages caused by improper use of the product pass, input errors or technical faults.

7 Changes to the terms and conditions
